It likely would have. Still figuring it out. |

Did some more macro attempts - learned that you can't have a strong cup of coffee in the morning and then try and shoot macro hand held. |

Beautiful bird. Well exposed, good detail without oversharpening. I like that there is some brightness variation in the background. The leaf seems to be getting the most attention. Dick and Joe give two options, but if you leave it in, I'd consider cropping a little on the right. I think it would improve image balance, and by elminating "non bird" content, put more emphasis on the bird. |

Great job rebuilding the car - and the background for the car as well. I like the yellow theme, hair foliage and car. Steering wheel both sides - global model or drivers training? |

Good toning and detail for the squirrel. I like the composition. The stalks on the right and the detail in the background are a little distracting. |

Good color and toning. Looks like it was shot without flash. Tough to do action indoors without flash - good job catching the top of the jump so there was minimal blur. |

Interesting bird - not one we have in the states. I second Dick and Joe's comments about lightening the very darkest areas and darkening the light streak lower left. I'd also darken the bright area on the top of the head - on my screen it is nearly blown out. Soft lighting really helps, especially with dark colors. |
