I like the color contrast between the leaves and the flower petals. I also like the veined texture in the flower itself. Great job keeping the stamen (is that what its called), and the petals in focus while bluring out the leaves. Two suggestions, the yellow in the stamen appears a little "hot" to me, and the one leaf in the background, lower left, could be blurred to match the others and keep attention on the flower. |

I can see why the patern of shadows caught your eye. The spoke shadows lead my eye into the brighter part of the image. I wonder if the effect might be enhanced by increasing the contrast between the dark spokes and the bright green paint, and taking the upper left corner to black. I'd also consider cropping from the right to decrease the large shadow area. For me, all that negative space throws the balance of the image off. |

This scene is all about mood, and I think you've captured it well. I like how the tree limbs frame the brighter white snow patches, and the contrast with the dim, blurred trees in the foggy background. |

I like how the plant is isolated against the darker/contrasting color/blurred background. Even though the lighting appears harsh, there are no blown out white areas, and I can see detail in the white plant areas, which contrast nicely with the white milkweed. Good "see" and nicely done. |

Great capture, and composition. Fun image. The only thing I would suggest is decreasing the brightness of the wood shed wall under the "Gentlemen" sign, it tends to draw my eye away from the Gentleman. |
