Thanks for the feedback everyone. I've changed my mind - I like the hands clasped version better. |

I second comments above. Love the detail of the vegetation on the branch and in the beak and feathers on the rump. Is there some additional detail in the black body that would be visible with a little boost to shadows? |

This is a great image, and the original could be interpreted so many different ways. I like what you've done, but I think versions with a tighter crop on the right just inside the hanging wire, to make the couple more prominent would work, as well as one where the boy is just cropped out of the image.

Wow - very striking. This is so different from the "typical" image that I lack the reference, or vocabulary to make detailed comments. I guess the bottom line is whether or not you like it - and I do. |

Nice blur on the moving water. To my eye, the tonal range appears compressed. I wonder what it would look like with black point and white point shifted, and contrast increased to spread out the brightness range. Perhaps that would also bring out some of the texture Joe mentioned. Except for the blue sky, there is almost no color in the image. Did you consider a monochrome? |

Great action shot, nicely composed. I second above comments on dark background. I'm surprised that 1/125 was fast enough to freeze the action.
I'm guessing he didn't block the pass. |

I've never tried to do anything like this. Maybe I should (if I ever get caught up on the rest of my editing backlog).
Critiquing this type of image is highly subjective. I wonder how it would look with the dark shadow area below the pinwheel center made brighter. It looks like an interesting part of the patern, and the image would fill more of the frame. |

Joe, Thanks for the feedback. I posted the frame where their hands meet as a separate comment. Did not get their names. Something to think about for the future. |

This is the next frame where their hands meet. Which do you like better? |
