Great job keeping the dragonfly in focus along its length. I also like how the branch leads you into the picture. I wonder if its possible to change the color of the out of focus green leaves behind the dragonfly to more closely match the brown background - it would simplify the image and help isolate the dragonfly. |

I'm also looking at your revised image and like it very much. Great job replacing the background. You even maintained the detail of hair strands, and I can't see any artifacts from the replacement. If you don't mind, can you share how you did it? (As an aside - years ago, my toddler daughter - who is now 40 - was standing nose to nose with a baby goat when she took the pacifier out of her mouth and put it in the goat's. I had them framed in the viewfinder when it happened, but was so startled I didn't push the shutter release -just fell over laughing). |

Great family photo - only suggestion is to clone out the little red dots in the upper right corner. |

I like the subject and the monochrome treatment very much. I also like the carriage centered in the image. Three suggestions, crop from the top just above the streetlamp to bring more focus to the carriage, darken the highlights on the right side to keep them from drawing your eye away from the carriage, and ... very optional depending on the effect you are after ... adjust white and black levels to increase contrast. |
