Thanks LuAnn for your comments. My photoshop skill is quite limited and try to learn more as I go. Never tried with adding blur background but I should look it up and give a try. |

Thanks Bob for your input. I'll try a long lens in future for experiment. The place is very busy and everything happened so fast. The cop(s) just happened to be around, and somehow they decided to paticipate. |

Hum, I don't know why my image seems so small compare to others. I must got the size wrong. |

I like the composition and the human aspect of the photo. Agree with there are a bit too many cars, I like Oliver's suggestion to leave just 1 car.
I also think you need to get the sky back to white. The grey sky didn't work well with the grey shade of dune. Look at LuAnn's version of the sky.
Nice shot. |

Nice shot Bob. B/W works great on this image. I agree with Oliver about the bars, which I like the see less over blown of those, can help recover their original texture.
I would also suggest to adjust the headlight will less highlight to help showing more detail. |

I like the conversion of the B/W but also love how the back lighting in the original which gave some very peaceful look to the iamge. The B/W seems covered that lighting up pretty much. Here is my take on the image, which I try to
- in Nik, I used the yellow filter to help emphasize more back-lighting
- darken the tree (control point) seems helping with the morning light going thru the bushes
- more more contrast on the horse face area to add more depth
This just my interpretation from the original. |

Oliver, you could be right about the B/W version. I did have problem have the right subjects to stand out. This might be better off with color. It's interesting how you used partial color. Thanks. |

Well expressed how you feel LuAnn! I do agree the image size if too small to show better impact, such as I cannot see the new development in the image. I also found the image is a bit tight, which could be another reason for new development hard to find in this image. I also have big concern on our environment problem, global warming. Glad that you are taking that into your photos. |

I think you might posted the wrong original, it's different. Was thinking how amazon if you can actually expand from that original to this final. ;-)
I think the B/W is very nicely done, very dramatic. No comments from me. Thanks for sharing the stunning storm |
