I usually look at the image without reading the description. What I saw was more about the tall building and it's reflection. I noticed and liked the reflecation very much but didn't notice the person until I read the description. I think the main issue seems that the person is kind of blended in with the busy leaves and he's very small. I think if you subject is the gentleman, you might need to make him stands out, able to seperate him from the tree in the back.
Maybe taking this photo in a lower postion, which can capture his whole body, there might be more to work with. Just a suggestion. |

If your purpose of the photo is the couple and the dog, I totally agree with Oliver's crop. His extra emlimination of the two boats that overlapping with the head is fantastic. |

I'm going to look into that. Is it a PS plug in or stand alone software? |

LuAnn, I like how you minimized other leaves and only left two. The tones are well done and very pleasing. I do find the main leave is a bit flat. Maybe you can try some dodge/burn to create more 3D look on the leave.
There is a video might help to explain what I have in mind about using the dodge/burn to create different depth:

I think the kid on the right is a boy. I so need to work better on figure out how to add more texture/sharpness to the faces. For your version, I agree to bright up a bit more. Thanks for your comments. |

Well captured and processed on this photo. I liked the determined look on the kid. Fabulous sharpening comparing before and after. Can PS do as good as a sharpening job? I don't have any suggestion, well done. |
