36 Oct 18 Comment I like how the image composed and the color really popped. It's really pretty and a joy to see this. Oct 24th
36 Oct 18 Comment Great capture with nice composition and color. Feels like you might did some transform correction, because I feel the build looks a bit shorter (height-wise) than it should be. I like how to use the f/11 to make the star shape light. Oct 24th
36 Oct 18 Comment What a nice change for the before and after. You brought out life out of this scene. Very well done. Oct 24th
36 Oct 18 Comment It's a nice capture of the subject, including nice foreground. I do feel the water reflection is too much and taking away my eyes from the boat. I did some adjustments in LR:
- lower highlight
- add some dehaze
- add vignetting

36 Oct 18 Comment What a gorgeous vibrant fall view you have here while I haven't even seen fall in Chicago area (a place jumps from summer to winter). The tree trunk, foreground leaves, tree leaves frame the farm and landscape perfectly. Agree with Michael about up the shadow of the barn and darken the foreground leaves to have eyes more draw to the farm house and the landscape. Beautiful view indeed. Oct 18th

62 Oct 18 Comment What a dramatic well composed image. I like it a lot. I know you like high contrast, with lots of black in the image, however, I see this image would be a perfect multiple-grey-shades images. It can has so many layers in my opinion. Oct 23rd
62 Oct 18 Comment Oliver always great with the cloning!

I like how you completely removed the background, converted a snapshot to an art work! Too back it's out of focus, only way to save is to make it moody, add some light effect to mask out the out of focus.

62 Oct 18 Reply I don't own a flash light yet. Even I do, I'm not sure how to go by taking it with me in places like this. It's all action, split sec shot. I walked around different station to capture actions. Only saw a couple of people doing this nicely in this station. Oct 23rd
62 Oct 18 Comment Thanks all. I like the cropping closer idea and do realize a lot of image are in the dark side (according to the histogram). Oct 23rd
62 Oct 18 Comment This is a strong image and you did cropped out some distraction on the edge. I cropped a slightly wider version: leave more space on the left and top, but less at the bottom.

The rock converted very nicely. One thing about your conversion is the tree that I think it's all black, while the background is much brighter (the water, sky, rocks on the left side. I attached a my version and here is what I did:
- crop a bit wider (wish I can make it 16x10 but the tree would be too centered)
- when converting, I first add a green filter, this would make the tree not completely black, more naturally light up due to where the sun came from.
- with the color slider, tune down left side rocks, but kept the wave nice and bright to balance out the bright part of the rock at the front
- tune down the water and the mountain in the back, the wave stands out but not distracted
- added vignetting

(I might have making it a bit too dark, but the low res image is quite hard to tell)

62 Oct 18 Comment Perfect conversion from color, which you got rid of the massy background. The grey scale all works well. Your last updates works better by brighten the subject. Very nice facial expression that you captured. Oct 22nd

80 Oct 18 Comment The image does show some hustle and bustle of the city but also too busy. There is also too much of sky and too much everything. I like seeing the two people in the upper level and two at the lower level.

The image's highlight is overblown. I pulled the highlight back down, converted to B&W. I also cropped to try to take out too many distraction from the image. This is just my interpretation.

80 Oct 18 Comment A nice quick capture of the motion of the kid. I do not like the ball at the bottom right either, the removal making it looks better. The composition is a bit tight in my opinion. Also try to see if you can tune down the saturation, which it seems a bit strong. Oct 27th
80 Oct 18 Comment This is quite interesting image where all the lines goes so well with each other. The ladder and the cell phone lean perfectly forming a triangle. The performer leaned with the cell phone. Two characters were in the same image but yet totally disconnected. Great capture. Maybe add a bit of contrast. Oct 27th
80 Oct 18 Comment I enjoy this image a lot. There are quite a lot to look at, but all good story telling here, from the tattoo, to the kids, to the guy outside and the truck. Even with a hot day, you have done well with the post processing and conversion. Oct 27th
80 Oct 18 Comment Thanks for understand this image. Yeah, to me it's a social statement of the current world. I do managed to have this image published on 1x.com, as my very first publication and one of my favorites. Oct 27th
80 Oct 18 Comment She's not happy! I like you capture her expression and the series definitely tells more about the stories. If I were you, I like to crop less from the original. I like those windows on the train. Oct 27th
