It's a beautiful sky and reflection and nicely composed. Agree with Michael. I do feel the image is slightly too orange to me but I wasn't there to see, what do I know :-). |

Wow, what a great dramatic sunset at the beach. The fire in the dark cloud, very beautiful. You nailed it. |

The lighting is magnificent, golden, soft. What a beautiful place and nice composition and all. Someday, I'll make it there. Nice capture Bill. |

It's a wonderful picture with great composition and detail. Sharp. I agree of cropping, but I would keep all the water, just crop a bit on the top sky. This way, it actually shows the low cloud better too. Agree with Michael about that we often cannot choose time of day for a shot. I feel the picture is very slightly lean towards more blue (opposite to Richard's). |

The flame is the same color as the red in the background, I had hard time adjust only based on color. Maybe I should try to tune down the red in the back before convert to B/W. Thanks. |

Thanks Oliver. The darken helps, only problem is I saw halos in the image. I'll try harder. |

Thanks for all your suggestions, I'll need to give another shot with it. Among all my photos at this spot, most of them didn't have the vehicle, which looks like this was the only time this truck drove by (sad face). I tried hard to try to bring out the couple but the overall color is very similar, and very difficult to use the color slides to bring up/down. Will give another try. |

Nice job repairing the feature, great move. The conversion works great and it is a very unique angle to present him. The effect works well too. Only wish the photo didn't have the motion blur. What speed did you use? |

Looks like you might over did the skin smoothing on the B/W. The girl has beautiful skin to begin with, the little texture of her skin looks very nice and real. She got beautiful eyes too and you definitely brought though out. I found the lip is a bit too dark in the B/W version, wondering what if it's a shade of lighter will be looked like. |

This one looks like a painting to me. Nice angle of the building, and grain is good, I like grain too. For the vignette, I would personally like a little bit more subtle because the bricks are very interesting with all the shades, etc. |

This is a very nice image and great composition. The grain goes very well with this. I would crop the top a little bit ti get rid of the top triangle lighting though. |

Converting a butterfly to B/W actually really good. I did one recently but I didn't have the killer angle, very creative and interesting. I like your conversion of the B/W, however, the edge of the flower gets very dark and become a bit distracted. My crop version is a 1x1. |

The wide angle lens is fun to use on street photography. Love the color that you are using here. This distortion is fine with me, but it does have too much distracted elements on the left side. I like Bill's cropping, but I also like the red sign that was cropped out of his image. I would suggest to do some perspective changes to be able to keep the front sign and posts, but crop a bit more on the back side.
I attempted like attached image, although I didn't do it careful enough to make sure the person getting more "fat" then she should be. Something like this will remove the distracted front (people on motocycle), left the post at front to frame it. Just an idea. |

I like your idea (implementation) of the moving subject against the musician and the interesting wall. Nice composition. Surprised that you were able to capture the motion with 1/200. The only thing bothers me is the arch on the wall on the left side. Maybe try to dim it so it doesn't keep getting my eyes looking there. |

The chopped heads doesn't bother me but it brings difficulty to level the image. The sun ray on the dog and the shadows are very intriguing and I love it. However, there are two people adding too much distraction. The long rope to the left is quite distracting and keep getting my attention, which I have been trying to figure out where is the end of that rope. Lol, I still haven't figured that out yet. I did a crop to the image, hoping to take out some distractions and bring out the fun part. Not sure if you'll like my idea or not. |

I like street photography with windows, reflections, seeing both in and out, etc. Funny that you got your granddaughter clear in this photo. It does have a lot of blurriness, probably due to the 1/60 speed here. I didn't noticed the clear face until I read your notes, but my focus was on the TV to the left because it seems the most clear part in the photo. I got a bit dizzy looking at the photo. :-) |
