I can relate to your struggle of getting up after seeking a specific angle, but based on your photo, it seems to have been worth it! If I were to title the photo, I would call it "Foamy," as the textures from the water have grabbed my attention. That's not to say that the birds and their reflections aren't also a beautiful part of the photo. This image reminds me of where I grew up. |

My initial reaction is to hope that young person is okay, as you have captured what seems like a very genuine emotion and feeling. Though I am not equipped with the proper knowledge for digital editing, I feel that the background could have been separated enough simply by blurring it, and not desaturating it. |

I like the leading lines, such as the fence and the shadows, taking me to the "back" of the image. Is that green box in the middle between the fence posts an intended edit? It seems to clash with the rest of the photo. |

What I've learned from this is to consider taking photos from an elevated perspective, rather than the mundane eye-level. Is that a pond or a crater in the middle? I feel that the tonality of the image conveys a chill or a coldness during a snowstorm. |
