14 Mar 18 Comment Your exquisite photo caused me to contemplate it a few times prior to commenting and also "google" Dominus Flevit Church, which revealed many versions of the scene, but none with the perspective and clarity of your presentation. It also made me slow down and examine a beautiful work, a habit that I have been striving to improve.Thank you. Mar 18th
14 Mar 18 Comment The scene, composition, and colors are striking. I would agree with the comments above about the slightly over-edited left side. I'm not aware of what you were trying to portray; it makes me feel a secluded sadness.

I do have a question: where were you positioned when you captured this; on a boat, on land?

14 Mar 18 Comment The evolvement of this door through your photos is impressive. The gold lock and the red blotch are instant eye catchers. I agree with Larry's recommendation about playing with contrast. I also think that the gold lock, in its startling contradiction to the rest of the photo, would be a good subject for a title, such as "Repair Underway," or "Modern Security." Mar 16th
14 Mar 18 Comment Here is an enlarged and edited version of my photo. (Click on photo to see full size) I have darkened the area around the owl, as well as turned up the contrast to allow it to stand out. Thank you for the comments. Mar 16th
14 Mar 18 Comment My first impressions are could it be an early form of photography, or a pencil drawing? For those reasons, it strikes me as very unique, especially in relation to the original. Close examination of the sky seems to reveal a fabric or texture-like surface. I have a lot to learn as well. Mar 14th
14 Mar 18 Comment In this fun action photo I was initially drawn to the boy's red shorts; followed by his elevation in red sneakers; and, then the varied bubbles and sprays, including the pinkish petals (?) on the floor of the gauntlet. It was not until a second viewing later that the soft background of greenery and shadow emerged. I am new to "formal" evaluation and editing and cannot think of any changes to the photo at this time.
