It is indeed an object that would have piqued ones interest. Spiders are such resourceful creatures aren't they? They can make a home absolutely anywhere! The background is delightful. Nicely spotted. |

Without your original I would have let my imagination run away with me and think that it was a closeup of a prehistoric skin or skeleton. It is an interesting subject that made me sit and ponder for quite some time. Neat shot :) |

I adore this image Peter! It has texture, lines running in every direction but with purpose, squares and circles and recurring patterns! Just fabulous! I think an interesting edit to it would be to run a triangle from the top left and bottom left corners near to half way and make that section brighter. It kind of already is brighter in that section so I think if the shadows were removed it could take on yet another interesting facet. Not that it needs it, but, if you wanted to I would like to see it. |

What a wonderful sight that would have been! Thank you for sharing it with us :)
I agree with the environmental aspect as one can immediately tell that he is the centre of attention and loving every minute of it! I like the capture of the moment when it seems that the Doe is answering him. Nice work. |

Such a wonderful image Henry and so well seen! I am such a fan of lines in photographs and yours has these in spades! I did a quick play and because I was about to have my eyes go on strike I had to stop with this edit. But, what I was going for was a recurring pattern that you could suit something like wrapping paper or a mural. I was hoping for a radiating image but I am not that clever :) |

Thank you Jim! Colour is everywhere in our lives and it gives me a little thrill when a monochrome image can outshine the original colour file :) |

Thank you Jim:) I am very pleased with the result and it reinforces how important this group is to me. It pushes me to search for images to convert to monochrome. Nothing like a bit of pressure to produce something worthy. :) |

If it wasn't for this group I probably would not have made the effort to find this image and process it to monochrome. Yay to us :) |

Thank you Allen. I remember when I took this photograph that I like the look of it. Natural portraits are my favourite kind of portrait. :) |
