Your image makes me think on many levels Henry. The pointed cone arch(?) reminds me of a certain Klan style of head dress and then I am reminded by the beautiful softness of the walls that this is beautiful and not evil.
I adore the pink tone in your original and I would really like to see the all of the walls in a beautiful pink or apricot tone so that everything looks soft and kind. |

How about Australia? :) Or did the heavy smoke haze whilst you were in Sydney put paid to any photographs? |

Your strong line image has certainly created some discussion. Well done! Your image would also lend its self to becoming a tryptic very easily. |

So much light and texture Allen! I am agreeing with Jim B that the scene is almost IR. Then also with Henry that the shapes and patterns are truly worth studying. A really nice sensory image. |

The bird world is really full of oddities isn't it?! We have the emu and the cassowary to really get one thinking and then there is the Kiwi to really make you think long and hard about birds!
I was helped on this day by the weather being overcast but not gloomy. Perfect for capturing the luminescence.
Thanks for the info about the standing on one leg. Another interesting piece of info to add to my overflowing brain box :) |

Welcome to our group Peter! Such a strong image you have presented to us first up. I will echo Allens comments with your strong patterns and tones. However my attention was drawn to the strong grey triangular portion of your image. I flipped and rotated your shot into something that for me looks more futuristic rather than classical. Congrats on a beautifully proportioned image. |
