Thanks so very much Jim for your kind words. I don't have anything prepared for our August group yet so maybe disappointment is just around the corner :) |

I am usually not a shape seeing person with clouds either. Maybe I can't see poodles, rabbits and dogs like others can? Maybe I can just see Seahorses :) |

Such a interesting image Henry! We sure had a great mix in submissions this month. Your original crop sits fine by me. Makes the pipe look like it was out sneaking a peek whilst still being protected from behind the curved section of the wall. Well seen. |

This is a super crop Jim! Has much more impact than the original. Thank you so much for the inspiration :) |

I think this is a great image Alan!Really suits mono as the textures become very apparent. I like the fence. It places the scene as rural and gives context to the image. I personally would crop and inch or so off the bottom. Sorry that I cannot show you what I mean as my iMac is off being looked at for mystery fault and this little laptop that I am on doesn't have any editing software. |

Thanks so much Victor! I am so happy that this translated so well from what I saw in the sky when I pressed the shutter :) |

Your final image is really interesting. I like what you have done with this. Makes me think that I am looking at a very old slide. opps you sure did miss a lens spot:) You should have seen how many I had to get rid of in my image this month :) |

A really interesting image Jim. The wrap around feel to this is perfect! The foliage on the right may not add to the story so I would consider cloning it out. The picture is really very very interesting! |

I would have never in a million years thought that I should turn this into a mono image. But, I was looking for something to submit this month I gave the conversion of this image a go and thought it was worth presenting. I am really pleased that you think that it makes such a huge difference to the image :) |
