Quite apocalyptic Jim! It also has that wet plate collodion look about it. This is a really interesting image and I enjoyed being confused and amused by it. Great job!! |

I really like Lisa's crop. This gave me the idea to crop even tighter and go high key and turn it into a romantic image that would look lovely framed and hung. |

Thanks Allen, these trees do have an almost luminescent - shiny - glowing type of thing that happens in the low light. They have a very very smooth outer bark so I guess i wanted to show the natural beauty by unnaturally lighting it . ;) |

I think that you are 100% spot on with the moving of the tree!! I never actually thought of doing this but it works brilliantly! Thanks so much for taking the time to edit this and I will certainly be adapting your take on this image :) |

Excellent image Jim! It has so much detail in the house and then the added curves, line and dramatic sky. This image makes me wonder if the old outhouse will sink rather than just fall over. Great work! |
