Nothing more threatening than the boogie man or evil clown or something out of a Stephen King novel to be in the background. Or the opposite being a little white bunny - Alice in Wonderland. I would love to give you my version but because I seem to be missing the part of my brain that understands Photoshop I will have to leave the creating part up to you. Bring on the PIDM I say. :) |

They must have been envious of your flawless shot of a butterfly. Butterflies tend not to be very cooperative in sitting still whilst nectar hunting. Well done :) |

Your version is also very lovely. I wonder what would happen if you desaturated the pinks? The butterfly could gain the attention again? Your blurred background still retains the lovely colours. |

If I do that my friends in this group can't use this image as inspiration to create their own version ;) |

Such an enthusiastic reaction Tom and I thank you so very much for it :)
They were thrilled with the result and I gave them a nice big framed print of it. They are still very much in love and have since married, bought a home and are expecting their first child. Perfect outcome. |

I have the 200-500 lens as well. Great versatile lens. Very nice image with great detail. |

Thank you Allen. :) This is a very simple shot to set up. I like how their anonymity remains intact while I can share in a relatively public forum. |

Don't you just hate that! Those curators have no sense of humour at all. ;) |

That is a great close up of what I call "the mouldy rockmelon". :) The 2 craters are clearly visible! What was the camera and lens that you used? |

Yes you did achieve your goal! There is the impression of a path in the centre of the image. I wonder where it leads? It would be cool was to add in a light source or something peeking out from the depths of the darkness. |

A truly fabulous image Jim! One gets transported directly to this era with your editing. On a side note - it's wonderfull that people are still taking the time to train these horses to harness. A most time consuming task but ever so rewarding. |

I love these flowers! Their scent and longevity is amazing. The only suggestion that I will make is that prior to taking this shot I would have snipped off the leaf that covers some of the flower. Great shot and as Jyoti mentioned, the textures are terrific :) |

Such a beautiful image that lends itself too monochrome perfectly. I just cropped the image to showcase the main subject matter. I also did some basic editing in LR with some radial filters to expose some more detail in the main body of the butterfly and darkened the corners a tad. |
