Thank you Tom! I thought that the pump house dome was crucial to the composition but, after viewing your edit I see that the railings also add a POI to what would be a negative space. ( I am a huge fan of negative space but alas others - including some judges are not ;) ) Thanks for your input! |

Cool shot Jim. Such a great story within the image.
I know a lot of steam train enthusiasts that would love to have taken a shot as good as this!
Some would say that they would like to see the entire person operating the lever on the train. I only know this as a very similar image came up in my camera club last week and one of PSA's very esteemed international judges was really really happy that there was a real person doing a real job with the old steam engine.
Just thought that I would share this with you. Still a cool shot though :)

A very nice image. Very correct technically and would make quite a nice commercial advertisement. The pots are very interesting with their contrast of colours and textures. Well spotted. |

I like the way that even though I know they are grass seeds they also look like fleas or some sort of teeny bug. I love the background as is. Nice find Allen :) |
