I like it a lot Tom! Yours is the look that I was trying to achieve with my lack of skills!
I understand the concept of what you did, I have never done it myself but it is something that I really need to learn. I have several scenes that I have shot at Sunset and later with the Milky Way just sitting there waiting for me to learn this method.
I tend to concentrate on Photo Journalism, Travel and Nature as a way to avoid my lack of skills in PS. Looks like the time is getting closer to delve into the dark side. :)
Thanks again Tom. |

What an amazing sight that you witnessed! Wow, I love the chaos and frozen action that you are showing us. I just love this image and will just sit back and admire it. Thank you. :) |

Gee that is such a pretty location for you to shoot!
I love how the Mono HDR bought out the detail in the large mountain behind the lake.
My only suggestion is, that maybe lighten the foreground grasses to have less contrast with the lake?
Your original 2 is such a pretty image with those beautiful autumn colours. I am imagining the 360 degree vista that you saw when you were there! |

Thanks Jim. I was surprised that I actually did a big thing in PS and it looked ok. :)
That trek paled in comparison to the Grand Tsingy - Madagascar, 8hr climb, scramble, caving and abseiling that I completed last week. Will never complain about the scramble into Horse Head rock ever again! |
