This image certainly benefits from being converted to BnW. Is there any way that you could show more detail in the white feathers on the top of its head? I just did a quick edit on the white feathers by using the radial filter in LR to reduce the highlights. I seem to have made the feather go a bit muddy but if you tried this process the original you may have more success than I did. : ) Capturing the detail in white feathers in full sunlight is never a simple process. |

What a glorious sight! I really like this image Jyoti.
I am a fan of objects being dwarfed by their surroundings. ( I am often told to crop and highlight the subject - but I like a sense of scale ) I wonder what the boat skipper is thinking? Is he wondering where the other whale is and what are its intentions? :)
Nice image, makes me want to come to Alaska. |

A very lovely image Jim. Such a pleasing play with light and shadows and the stairs show a purpose. Makes me wonder if the occupier stops rests their hands on the balustrade and admires the view from above. No suggestions for improvements. Nice capture. |

Mono spider webs are always pleasing images. I just wonder if it could have been improved by finding the creator of the marvellous web and including them in the image? Is it an abandoned web? It certainly needs some repair. |
