Meredith. You are absolutely right. Ps is far more accurate than Lr for removal and masking tool. |

Hi Meredith. This is a lovely composite. I prefer the softness of the original. I started to see some white clipping in the posted image, at the grass on the right and a bit from the rainbow. I suggest reducing the overall contrast a bit. I am curious why you have to remove the distracting vegetation in PS if that can be done in LR. |

I wouldn't have recognized it as a tulip if you hadn't mentioned it. I really like your original approach-the soft surroundings gently drawing the eye toward a sharp center. We share a similar taste in that style. That said, this version still has its own charm, and I wouldn't change anything. Nice work! |

Hi Dona. I like the soft, dreamy feel-it's very atmospheric. But I found my eyes searching for a point of focus. Even a slight sharp detail might help anchor the viewer while keeping that beautiful mood. I am a kind of agree with Dough Wolters comment. |

Hi Bob. Thanks for your comments. SOOC images are always challenging. I asked my self how to make the SOOC more interesting than the original scene. My constraint in editing process was how to make it enough but not too much. I did not take from a drone but a bridge prepared by the local photo concept organizers. |

Hi Tom, thanks for your good words. To answer your question. Yes it was taken from some sort of a bridge prepared by the local photo concept organizers. |

Hi Dona. At first, I was never a fan of pre-arranged concepts. I've always leaned toward candid, uned moments. But stepping into local photo clubs, I was exposed to a different world. Friends introduced me to travel photography organizers, and I began to see the growing pull of conceptual work.
It made me realize: photography today is no longer just about capturing reality. It's about crafting meaning. Conceptual photography is thriving-shaped by social media and the need for deeper visual storytelling. It invites us to build scenes, direct emotion, and transform ideas into images through staging, props, and thoughtful post-processing. In a way, it's not less authentic-just a different kind of truth. By the way I really appreciate your comments and opinions. |
