Hi Peter. I like the full spectrum infrared. I would crop it 8:10. To me. This is a perfect example as Minimalist Color genre. |

Hi Meredith. I love the smooth and silky waters. You have choose shutter speed 1/3 with tripod. This is a perfect choice. To me. Silky water falls is the subject here. I agree with Dough to remove the distracting trees. I also agree with Bob to mask out the wet rocks to make them less obvious. The trees and the rocks keep pulling my eyes away from the beautiful silky water falls. |

Hi Dough. I saw your website. I appreciate your sense of art especially your still life like dry leave - your last month post. This month you share the Blue Cathedral. To me, it's awesome. I like original 2 - the square one. |

Hi Mark. This is a fascinating autumn seen. I like the vibrancy, leading lines and its composition. You choose f/14. It's sharp from foreground to background. It just a matter of personal taste. I would normally choose f/4 or f/5.6 to a shallow depth of filed to create the mood. This was just my two cents. |

Donna. Indeed. You were lucky to get such candid wildlife actions. I agree with you removing some distracting branches and replace the sky to make it more interesting. I know. This may not be legitimate image for Nature. But who cares. We all enjoy and appreciate you share this image with us.
I saw a bit of imperfection where you remove the protruding section of the branch. It's not easy to clone the bird feather naturally. Especially, if there is fur. I would normally allow some protrusion just to make it look more natural.. |

Hi Mark. Thanks for comments and suggestions. I agree with you. The highlight of the water ripple could be toned down a bit. |

Hi Bob. You must be a seasoned photographer. Indeed, this was a stage session. The real Makepung is very crowded. You would see many people watching the actions. I really appreciate your comments and score. Thank you. |

Hi Jan. This image beautifully blends music and nature in a poetic and surreal composition. I like how you combine several flowers into a bouquet. I also like soft, textured background enhances its painterly quality and keeps focus on the subject. To me, the job is done perfectly. I would not change any thing. |

Hi Bob. I love your imaginations combining two images into one abstract poster. This feels powerful and cinematic. It feels like history painted with emotion, full of intensity and strong visual storytelling. The textures and contrast give it a distinctive artistic style that truly stands out. |

Hi Judi. I love to see how you enhanced your original and make as the final results. You have successfully make it more colorful, sparkling and magical. Great job.
I am not familiar with Topaz Super Neon Effect. Wondering if you have to come back and forth several times between Topaz and LR. Normally, I would do all my basic adjustment in LR, my elaborate edits (like neon effects) in PS. Then, come back to LR just for final crop and export into specific image size. Just my two cents. |

Hi Jerry. I have been struggling - for a while - in this image quality issues for posting in PSA systems. For this DDG, I always use LR to export my image for submission. My setting is 1024x768-72DPI. Copy of my LR export panel is attached. Hope, this helps. |

Hi Kirk. I love to see your post this month. Its about antenna - not rocky mountain. :) I love how you make the antenna sharp and make the foreground less sharp. You might probably want the same for the mountain background to make the antenna look more outstanding. Nice shot and nice post process. |

Hi Brad. What a lovely shot. I also used IPhone 13 Pro Max but never aware that never experience with Indigo PI Camera from Adobe. Is it a post process application in Iphone or you did it in external computer? I agree with Jerry's comments. The water reflections needs softening. |

Hi Geoff. it's a simple shot using Iphone. But to me, it shows your passion in photography. I love the framing, how you place the horizon and ... Iphone prevent you from getting any OE or UE spots. Job well done. |

Hi Scott. From your explanation, I might guess this image is more SOOC (Straight Out Of Camera) before you post process. We don't have much choice taking pictures from cruise ship balcony, except the frame. I like the the framing you choose. I agree with all friends here we need. Tone down the overall highlights needs and brightened the shadow areas to show their details. |

Hi Jerry. I really respect your efforts to take this picture by going through slippery wet and muddy hiking trail. I will not do that. :) By the way, I like your original image before cropping. It creates depth and distant to the subject. For me, the subject here is the big tree with stream of sun rays coming from behind. I don't know how and what kind of application you pose process this image. IMHO, your original image quality is better than what you submit here. Post process should not degrade our original image quality. |

Hi Brad. I am glad you notice this white buckets. Japan is very famous in it's cleanliness and tidiness. But they are not perfect. Like my discussion with Pierre above. In this scene, I purposely make the scene as it's reality. I did not remove anything for a purpose. Thanks for your comments. |

Hi Pierre. You know English is my second language. You make me learn the word 'pylons' :). Yes, I agree with you the pylons is a bit distracting. And, I also agree with your last sentence. It depends on where you would show your image. I call it. This is a wisdom of photography. I really appreciate your comments. |

Hi Kirk. I am glad you notice the sharpness is a bit soft. I purposely make it this way to create the gloomy mood of the whole scene. Thanks for your comments and suggestion. |
