Hi Mike. You inspired me for making this kind of photo collages. I agree with Jan. Black background. As I did to my post this month. It would make the stone images more outstanding. The purple frame is almost invisible in the black background. Nice creations. |

Hi Candy. As Jan said. It may not be an altered reality image. But I enjoyed it so much. You have perfectly smooth out the color with its dreamy look. Good job Candy. |

Hi Steve. One thing that I like the most is the sepia finished. I would follow Jan and Gunter suggestion to remove the compass. I think soft clouds would make the statue and the two ships more pleasant to see. |

Hi Bob. Sorry to confuse you. I enjoy following this group because this is not just about photography nitty gritty. I also learn our friend thinking process to create their images. One time. I learned about what is steampunk! English is my second language. Believe me. This is a perfect learning ground for me how to express myself about photography. Welcome to the group Bob. |

Hi Jan. It was a tough journey for my age. The walk path was slippery. The bridge to cross the river was only 8 in wide with almost no hand rail. But group of PSA members also visited this place. Some of them were older than me. They are tough and strong. Thanks God for my dream to visit the place come true. |

Hi Gunter. Thanks for your good words. Indeed. It's more a documentary series of pictures. I purposely want to display face paintings of the local culture. Not many Indonesian has visited this place. I composed this as a cover to celebrate Indonesia Independence Day. |

Hi Kirk. I love how you expose the tree textures as the main element. I agree with Pierre. A bit of more room on the left would allow the tree to 'breath'. I think shallow DOF is more suitable to make the tree more outstanding. That means less sharp and a bit blurry background. |

Pierre. What an excellent shot. The right time at the right position. I suggest you remove distracting elements at the bottom left corner. The panoramic is suitable crop for this scene. |

Hi Pierre. Thanks for your good words. I used sky replacement. AI tools to remove distracted elements. And, extensive dodge and burn to enhance the image. Look the original (SOOC). Flat and boring. There are reports 30 and 90% images need edit before publishing them. |

Barbara. This a life demonstration of your photography caliber. It's a five star image, to me. I like your words ... keep an eye out for the small treasure within the "big picture ... I like how you make extra brightness on the feather shaft and the wave edges. It's an excellent finishing touch! |

Hi Arindam. Welcome to the club. I like the composition. I suggest you to desaturate the busy background and foreground to make the Heron and the bite look more outstanding. |

Wow. Nice shot and nice post process. The tree brunch at bottom left keep pulling my attention. I would normally desaturate and partially apply a bit of blur filter to this part. |

Hi Ginny. You have done nice shot. I agree with Dan and Barbara suggestions. Btw. I was struggeling with my Canon 70-200 lens when shooting bird. I landed with cheap and cheerful lens Sigma 150-600 for my Canon. The 'contemporary' is lighter and cheaper than the 'sport'. |
