Hi Jan. What awesome creation. I am excited to see this creation since I have two Lili ponds in my front yard. I promised you to steal the idea shamelessly. |

I agree with all in this group. The original is more enjoyable to see. I think it's more enjoyable when viewing with 3D glasses. |

Hi Jan. Thanks for your comments. The small speck beneath the bird are mud splash when the bird start to take off from muddy ground. Please review my reply to mark to Mike's curiosity. |

Hi Mike. Thanks for your observance. Fortunately, the speckled from the original image. It was mud speckled when the bird started to take off from the muddy ground. I purposely include this mud speckled to add sense of movement. |

Thanks Steve. I really appreciate you understand the concept of Asian yin and yang. I really consider balance between elements of my composite image. |

Hi Kirk. Likely, we both have the same taste of editing style. Saturate and crispy images. The rocks look crisp and dimensional. I wonder if you have applied dodge and burn. The pitfall is always the 'halos'. I saw a bit of halo where dark arc rock meet the bright sky. I hope you remember our discussion about removing halos. |

Hi Kathryn. I like the composition and the choice of f/9 so it almost clear from front to back. You did not mention the speed but I guess it's more than 1/60 sec for crisp water ripples. I think a bit of dodging onto the dark shadow side on the right buildings would make it more appealing. |

Hi Geoff. I just want to ensure that I understand your explanation. Is it a composite of two images? |

Hi Stefaan. You have successfully combine between dreamy look sky with crisp foreground and background. Like Pierre, I am also curious about your shooting parameters like aperture, ISO and speed setting. Any tripod usage? |

Hi Pierre. I like how you positioned your main elements (the sun, the boat and the swimmers). I suggest to remove the swimmer on the left and shrink the image by using content aware scale to balance the composition within rule of third. It's just a personal taste. |

Hi Pierre. This was an old building complex in India. The place where the organizer provides widow dance photo concept. I did not go into the building myself. |

Hi Jack. From my experience, there is a bit of luck factors in taking animal pictures. This image is one of a good example. You are lucky. The wood tree is in the same color and texture as the bird. If it's in RAW, I would normally create two copy layers. 1st, the sharp image. 2nd the image with negative texture, negative clarity and negative haze. All by moving the sliders to the left. Add a bit of vignette around the bird. This will make the bird more obvious. I would then masked out the bird. I agree with LC to update the crop a bit. |

Hi Dan, It's a great capture. I appreciate your editing skill when I saw the original image. I would remove the duck far back at the center between two Swans, dim out the water and increase the Swans and water speckled around it to make more outstanding. I also did a bit of cropping. |

Hi LC. This picture is not a real wild life. I shot this in a captive or pre-arranged environment. Originally, the snake eyes are not red, I changed the color. Thanks for your suggestion to add a bit of space on the left side to make the composition more balance. |
