Hi Mike. It's a unique design. I like your idea of mirroring the tower to create a unique metal works. I think Jan enhanced it nicely. |

It gives me impression of mystical astral world. Its not about photography or composite editing techniques. To me. Its about imagination and creativity. I read your explanation about the process of developing this creation. I am just curious. Is this inspired by somebody else's work or just come out from your own idea? What ever your answer is. I really appreciate the thinking process to create this art. Job well done Jan!

I agree with Mike's comment. Its better no mirror girls on the right. It would create a classic sense of movement from left to right. The psychedelic effect definitely add unique sense of art here. |

Hi Gunter. I agree with every bodies comments here. This a successful high key portrait. I love how you make contrast on Phoenix's eyes and y hair. I agree with Steve suggestion white vignette bring additional mood to the whole scene. Nice work Gunter! |

Hi Candy. I saw a junk bus on my way from Palm Spring to Transmission Sculpture in California last Christmas. I asked my son to get closer to this junk yard. He was wondering why I have an interest to this old junk bus. He did know that I was so much inspired by friend's work Candy Childrey. :) Unfortunately my brain did not produce such creativity imagination like what you have done here. It's awesome and inspiring. Good job Candy! |

Hi Steve. I am glad to see you back. It reminds me of a movie poster. I agree with Jan. The lady and the man hats are unique. It would bring the mood of ship captain and her first mate. Good job Steve. |

Hi Gunter. As my comment to Mike. This post is in a response to your suggestion last month not to put any additional element that would only distract the beauty of the light painting dance. Thanks for your good words and suggestions. |

Hi Mike. You are right. My image this month is in a response to this group comments that the light painting dance alone is more beautiful with out any other additional element. Btw, I tried to tilt the front dancer face to left. Obviously, it could only be done in Photoshop element. :) |

Hi Pierre. I really appreciate you remind us all when focus stacking is needed for shooting far away objects and near foreground objects. Like Kirk, I also forget. Focus bracketing can be done automatically in many camera brands. Including, Canon R5 and R6 that we use. I found one of the best explanation on how to use focus bracketing from this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-FcEftY2XyA&t=270s |

Hi Kirk. Pierre has had all my comments. If our aim is to show far away background object with its near foreground object. We have no other choice then considering focus stacking. But not only you Kirk. I also forget. Please review my note to Pierre. |

I like the angle of the shot. The sky is overly blown out for me. This is a good example of old photographers explain why we need graduate ND filter. The sky is too bright and the foreground is to dim. I never carry GND filter. But like Pierre, I always shot with exposure bracket. Then, blend the darker sky with brighter foreground. In case we only took a single exposure, sky replacement is the option to overcome the blown out sky. Just my two cents.

Wow, it's scarry. I think this a good background image for creating doomsday composite work. |

Nice exposure blend. You might consider cloning the stone on the left and on the right bottom corner. |

I think you positioned your self at the right angle when capturing this image. I suggest you dim out the overall brightness scene and increase the saturation a bit to make it more dramatic. I did it using 'level adjustment' in PS but you can do it in LR. |

Hi Pierre, you get my purpose for this month post. It is merely for a demonstration. I agree with you. I should have removed the sharp turn sign. Thanks for your comments and suggestions. |

Hi Barbara. I am glad to see your first image. The original and the edited image impressed me of your talents and skills in photography. It makes me review your portfolio. I am glad to have a nature photography guru in this group. I like so much the wolf reflection. IMHO, I would reduce the reflection sharpness to make it looks more natural. I hope you will bring a lot of education matters to our group here. A warm welcome to you Barbara! |

Wow. To me. It's a perfect shot and editing. It's a well balance composition with a piece of branch and the bird on the right. The bird's red feather is a bit too vibrant in my monitor. Nice work Jack! |

Adobe provides tool call Dehaze. As the name imply. This is to remedy the hazy image. However, the beauty of this capture (to me) is the misty look of the environment. We just want to get a bit of sharp eyes. Unfortunately we need to do it to the RAW file both in LR and PS. I include my PS layer screen shot for concise explanation. |

Hi Dan. What a beautiful shot. I like the misty look. I agree with Ginny and Barbara. The ultimate animal images for most viewers are the animal eye(s). I did a bit of re-editing. Although it's not fully effective. See my comments to answer your suggestion for a remedy. |

Hi LC. Nice from start to finish. Capture, post editing including the cropping. My only suggestion is to make the bird eye on the left brighter than this. |
