Excellent creations. I like the combination between top and bottom. To me, it's complementary. I also like the frame. It works well in the composition.

Hi Jan. I may be different than our friends here. I love how you show different color (the tower?) behind the trees that make it looks more dimensional. I also love how you place the cat, the purple and orange flowers around the steps to the chapel. I would not change anything. I just the love your original creation. |

Unique composite. I like how you combine the neon lights with human character in it. |

Hi Gunter. I really enjoy your creativity. It's far from being monotonic. I saw different style every month. So, I keep waiting what's coming next month. Good job Gunter. |

Hi Candy. Art is a matter of taste. I just love the way you create this composite. Composition, blending techniques and how you create a black frame around the image with outer part overlay. To me, you have done an awesome work. |

Your original 1 and original 2 make me busy reviewing these unique pictures. After all, you have successfully composed those elements into very nice composition. Job well done Steve. |

Hi Mike. I feel so sorry to your friend comments. Photography is my hobby. To me, hobby is a pleasure. I followed a tutorial with very senior mentor. I don't mind feedback and critiques. But, he rejected my works several times and wanted me to redo and re-submit over and over again. Instead of getting pleasure. I felt stressful. Literally, I released my self from the sessions. |

Hi Kirk. It's a wow place to me. I might spend hours taking pictures here. I like your shooting angle and perspective. I wonder what is the white sands that almost look like snow. |

Hi Geoff. I have been to this place and captured a lot of pictures. But none has been as strong as your picture. You have done a great job by setting graduated dark blue sky against bright yellow of the costal rocks and sand. Thanks for giving me these excellent editing examples. |

Hi Terina. I just love the combination between smooth water waves and crispy rock formation. Perfect camera settings. I started to see a bit of white haze between transition of dark mountain on bright sky. Likely, this part has been subjected to heavy amount of sky editing (darkening). This is a simple issue to tackle. I would select the sky and clone the hazy part with the darker sky. Enjoy your editing. |

Lively and colorful scene. I would light up the shadow a bit to get more radiant warm. Nice shot Pierre. |

Hi Tami. Alaska is my dream place. You captured the mountain perfectly well. Indeed, you need additional element to add story. I wonder if you have another angles of shot to choose. This wing is a bit awkward to me. |

Hi Jack. You asked which is better, color or BW?
Roy Killen (my senior mentor in PSA) gave me good reason why we need to convert color to BW. BW is needed when you want emphasize lines, tones, contrasts and textures. In many case, color would distract your images. Please refer to this link for more elaborate explanations and examples. https://belmont16s.myphotoclub.com.au/wp-content/uploads/sites/27/2016/05/Basic-monochrome-2016.compressed.pdf |

I love the bird action. Like LC reminder. This picture is a bit too small to evaluate.
I always export my images from LR - with different settings. In this case, it is set at 1024x768 (Max 1 MB) and put extension name 'Edit for PSA DDG'. This is to avoid sending too big or too small pictures for PSA. |

Hi Jack. Thanks for your interest. This is a plant. They called it Spoon-leaved Sundew (Drosera trinervia). It was in flower pot (12 inch diameter). See the image I send to Ginny. Posted: 06/24/2023 06:28:54 |
