Hi Steve. The unique things that I like is how you ghost your own portrait into the composition. This what makes this creation special. Good job Steve. |

I wonder all friends in this group experience the same. My computer took more time to down load the DDG page. Comment images are presented as icons. You could see the image only by clicking it but it was slow to open.
Hi Gunter. I like your original creations. the unique color tones makes me have a close look. Awesome creations. |

Hi Steve. Thanks for your kind words and suggestions. Please review my reply to Gunter. What's the significance benefit between Topaz Mask AI and PS masking tools? |

Hi Gunter. Your suggestion was my original idea. Honestly, I was having difficulty to remove the sunset radiant. It takes me a while to configure out how to clean this part. |

Hi Jan, you live a nice neighborhood. I visited this place many times as my son used to live in San Diego for a while. Regarding the pole of the light house. This is some thing that I like from this DDG. I just about to clone it but then I think it my add a story to the whole like Steve comment. Thanks for your genuine comments and suggestions. |

Hi Geoff. Thanks for your comments. Most Cappadocia balloon in the internet would be fully inflated. I purposely choose this halfway deflated balloon from my stock images to make a difference. My balloon pilot willingly entertained us by coming down a bit late so the sun started produce side shadows. He knew that we came all the way to Cappadocia for taking pictures. Don't miss Cappadocia balloon if you have a chance to visit Turkey.

Hi Pierre. Thanks to both of you and Stephen comments about how your eyes travel when reviewing my image. Basically, our eyes would first get attracted to bright and contrast elements and follow leading lines. I learned it from several references. That's why, I purposely dehaze only parts of my image to attract my viewers' eye attention. Some landscape editors even create Orton Effect to get the mood of dreamy and gloomy look. |

Hi Steve. I have not heard from you for a while. Yes I remember you said that your wife is Turkish. How is her family members in Turkey? I hope they are all safe from recent earthquake. The scenery from the balloon were, indeed, so hazy. It took me a while to effectively dehaze my Cappadocia images. I normally used Dehaze slider in Lightroom before further post process in PS. Please continue reading my reply to Pierre. |

Nice capture Kathryn. I would normally edit this kind of scenery separately. The sky and the shadow. I used luminosity mask to darken the shadow. |

Hi Geoff. I love this image so much. My only suggestion is to darken part of the tree shadow to make the foreground looks more dramatic. |

I agree with both Pierre and Geoff comments. What is good here is the dramatic sky and the lighting. I think I might get into the same situation when I have to choose between the opera house or the bridge. The water seems a bit too smooth to me. When the sky is sooth, I might want to see building reflection in crispy water. |

Hi Pierre. What a wonderful image. I like how you include your son into the picture. It makes the scene looks much more alive. I agree with Geoff to clean the debris on the lake. |

I just love to see how you post processed your image. I love to see the musician rather than her back. As a photography traveler I am particular concern about legal requirements for publishing some one images.
As far as I am concern, anyone is allowed to take photos of anyone or anything in a public space. If the photo is for personal enjoyment, nothing else is required-you don't need a model release form or permission.

Hi Jack. I think you have done smart approach for cropping it tight. Please try desaturate and apply less contrast of the top half part. The flower at the half top keep pulling my eyes away from the bee. |

Hi Dan. I agree with every body that this is a great image. It would be stronger with less empty space. The bird would be more outstanding in action. |
