Hi Steve, I am glad to have you in this group. You add another dimension of creative images by introducing stereoscopic photography. It's a new thing to me. I am glad to hear you have Indonesian inherited from your grandfather. I am Indonesian and live in Indonesia. |

Hi Kirk, I am glad you noted the left part of this image. I included this left arm because it's a walk path for people going down to the beach. I was considering if this part add any value to the overall scene. Thanks for your comments. |

Hi Kirk, I have a close friend who live in Orlando Florida. So, I know how they feel in times of hurricane. I hope you can get back home soon.
I really appreciate you still commit to share your image which us this month. It is very clear to me how you want to tell story with your subject in this image. However, point and shoot camera tend to capture sharp and contrast image from front to back. IMHO, it requires partial adjustments like dodge & burn, desaturation and de sharpening. I hope you like my edit here. |

Hi Kathryn, I have seen your images for several years. Now, you demonstrate tremendous advancement in photography. It starts from your choice of long exposure and your post editing. It is all well done. Excellent work from start to finish. |

Hi Geoff, I used to work offshore and travel by chopper frequently. Now, I am retired and has no more opportunity flying by chopper so I bought my first drone for exploring my aerial photography. I could really tell the different taking pictures by Drones vs from Helicopters or Planes. Not many photographers as lucky as you! :)
IMHO, this kind of seen needs partial desaturations, Dodge & Burn, Partial Contrast Adjustment and Vignette. I hope you like this style. |

I think we all agree that photography is an art and it is so much a personal preference. I just like your original color with smooth mood every where. But I agree with Michael Hrankowski to move the horizon up a bit and remove the hand rail on the left corner. |

I agree with Pierre. It's an excellent start. The choice of f/11 with ISO 200 is appropriate for this kind of scenery where we begin to get star effects. I also like distribution light from left to right. I suggest improving vertical perspective and also blur out the water ripples to get the same mood as the moving clouds. |

Pierre, I just love the color mood and how you smartly include water reflection into the composition. I hope you don't mind if add a bit of rim light through the mid ground. It's a bit to much here as to make it obvious. |

I agree with Dan's suggestion. One way to make our objects more outstanding is by making different tonality among it's surrounding. This is the likely examples. IMHO. |

Hi Dan, I think you have got the best out of your efforts. One think I like most is how you make your object face brighter to attract your viewer eyes. |

I agree with Ginny. Removing distracting yellowish grass among busy background is not an easy task. This was a real challenge to practice my skill in using Lumenzia. Lumenzia is a luminosity mask developed by Greg Benz. Basically, I selected the yellow grass by using luminosity mask and desaturate the yellow color. Then, I add another layer to patch the original element. |
