Excellent analysis! That's one of the reason right now I am using computer with 32 GB RAM. Since you are with Canon, that one of my reasons I chose R6. The RAW is only 21.8 MB. |

Hi Pierre, we are in the same page. I am also retired. I have been paying monthly LR & PS for a while. My reason is very simple. I like learning and LR & PS has the most tutorial in the internet.
Adobe provides around the clock technical support. However, not all of their technicians are qualified. Some are even misleading. I faced a bad experience yesterday. He said that my issue (with font in PS) was due to the lack of my computer graphic card. He keeps on telling me to update the driver or downgrade my PS although I explained that it is a brand-new computer. Literally, I found one way to tackle the issue from internet. It has nothing to do with my computer. |

I was out from the group last month due to long and exhausting computer migration. Pierre has made me saw what the last month posting. I love this image. It reminds me of my offshore time for years. My only suggestion, I would add more space above the ship pole. |

Hi Mary, I prefer the mood of the BW. You said … there was nothing real special about this wooden dock … etc. To me, this wooden dock has made your image really alive. You composed it nicely and allow the fog cover some of the wooden dock. If you ask me any area for improvement. My style would be to apply partial contrast and increase clarity to some areas of the wooden dock. |

Hi Pierre, This perfectly a suitable composition for panoramic. You mentioned about post processed it with ON1. What's the benefit of ON1 compare to LR and PS? By shooting with Canon R5 I guest your RAW might be up to 50 MB. Any constraint using LR or PS? |

Hi Ellen,
When I first look at this image. My attention is directly to the curvy wave and shore around the mist. To me, this is the impact of the image. Obviously, you chose the corner of the green grass as the subject. That is fine. I think you have done consistent post processing to the image. Nice work Ellen. |

I love how you arranged the composition. A combination between horizontal and diagonal lines. You purposely include a bit of bush at the bottom left corner. This is an awesome interest area to me. My eyes traveling horizontally from left to right, diagonally form right down to left and stop at this bush. To me, the subject of this image is the bright tips of the mountain from left to right. I would normally make my subjects more outstanding by applying local contrast. Excellent work Kathryn. |

Hi Ellen,
Let me first welcome you to the club. You right. It was too cold especially for a tropical man like me. It made me careless and lazy. Hehehe.

Hi Pierre,
Thanks for your genuine comments. In this case, I have all the required equipment with me. But, I was too lazy to set tripod and everything else in such a weather.
