Hi Todd, I really appreciate your comments. Your edited B&W looked more dimensional. I did download the TK Panel but literally purchased Lumenzia for my complex Luminousity Mask. I lately discover working with 'B&W adjustment Layer' in PS give me more flexibality. I would normally create a couple of layers in Nik Silver Efex Pro and B&W Adjutment Layers. Then, apply mask or use Blend-if to get tonality to some parts of the image as I wish. Your B&W edition is definitely a valuable reference to me. Thanks Todd. |

Hi Todd, I have visited Yosemite National Park three times but I missed this kind of spots. My eyes were not trained to see this kind of unique spots. I really like your creativity to frame the mountain into a unique composition. It's almost like a painting on the wall. No complain, no input but just two thumbs up. Good job Todd. |

Hi Judi, Likely, I prefer your original composition with a bit of for ground for framing. I just followed a Webinar conducted by Mieke Boynton last week. A famous Landscape photographer from Australia and a winner of so many photo salons. https://www.miekeboynton.com/landscapes
One her tips for waterfall images is to shoot one stop under then bring back the brightness of the water streams and some parts to create interest areas and make it more depth. I tried to apply her techniques to your image here. |

Hi Pierre, You know English is my second language. I still learned how to speak and write English until to day. I like your sentence ... When there is so much to see, it is very difficult to select an area to focus on! ... That's what my Senior Photographer coach told me. That was what I am trying to say in my comments to Lamar posting this month. |

Hi San, I never get involved in star trail photography. I learned a bit of Astrophotography when I prepared to shoot Aurora. So I review articles and star trails images before I can give you this comments. Obviously, the concept is no difference than Aurora images. The key is the composition and balance between the trails and the foreground. Therefore, my suggestion is to smoothened and apply local adjustment to brightened part of the foreground to make it more dimensional. Then, smoothened and dimmed out the trails a bit. I might want to add a bit of very light coloring to the trails. I really appreciate your efforts to capture this image. |

Hi Pierre, I just love your original shot with calm and soothing purple blue sky color and fog. To me, it's all perfectly done. My only suggestion is to darken the foreground grass. One third of the image. The bright color on this side keep pulling my attention when I enjoyed viewing the two third of the image. Nice shot Pierre! |

Hi Lamar, I agree with Pierre. I also love the pastel color and the fog. On the contrary, I love the bridge and it's reflection on the water although it's a bit too far for me. I have a likely composition and my senior photographer in my local club commented this was always a challenge to most of us photographers when seeing a beautiful scenery like this. We tend to include the whole scenery. She recommended to crop the scene by using tele lens. In this case, I agree with Todd to concentrate more to the right side with 200 mm lens. |

Hi Steve, I've just realized there is a specific photography genre dealing with reflection and symmetry. Thanks for 'inviting' me to this new fun in photography! |

I agree with you Todd, Stephens recommendation was beyond my imagination. I agree with your recommendation to add a slight edge on the B&W. By the way, how would you normally do in photoshop? Thanks Todd. |

One of my friends has 16 mm lens so he can shot much wider portion of the ceiling. Thanks for your comments Pierre. |

Steve, you are one of the best photography coach in my life. You don't criticize but you inspired and give me a challenge. I have just finished reproducing the image and make it BW. I am waiting for my group friends opinion here. Thanks Steve the Coach. |

Stephan Levitas my dear friend. What an awesome suggestion. I promised you to reproduce my image as you suggested and I believe this would catch one or two juries attention. Hopefully, it would more than just Accepted. It's perfectly suitable for Color Open. I really appreciate your suggestion for creativity. Thank you so much Steve. |
