Judy, you are definitely one of my photography inspiration sources especially in scrutinizing textures and details. Thanks for educating me this image is an Architectural and Travel genre. When shooting India, I keep thinking my friend Judy will get excited to see how rich was India in texture. Now, I have a number of texture and vintage architectural photos. Thanks for your comments Judy. |

Kathryn, you are correct. I have to remove a lot of distracting people from my shot in India. I was waiting for a while to get this shot, got people clear of my scene. Thanks for your comments. |

The original image almost similar to your edit. I purposely darkened the wall in order to get stronger framing. Thanks for your comments and suggestions |

Hi Judy, I obviously have different comments from our group friends here. I just like the way Judy compose and post edit the image. I always shot in 3 bracket exposure (I guess Pierre did the same) and normally develop and post edit from -1 exposure. Very much like what Judy has done here. To me its awesome work Judy. No suggestion. |

Hi Kathryn, I like your comment to Lamar's input. I just about to do the same crop before I read Lamar's comment. Awesome shot Kathryn. |

My first impression, it was an image of famous Horseshoe Bend. One thing that I like so much is a dreamy effect. Awesome mood. I apply some of my images with 'Orton Effect' in Photoshop to create this kind of mood. I wonder if you did it in Photoshop or the real morning fog at the scene. This image is suitable for biblical background. To me, the key success that make this image strong is the silhouette of your son. Nice setting San. |

Todd, let me be very honest to you. You have been way from what I know you in the beginning of this group. I am SPEECHLESS. All I can tell you, I will steal it shamelessly into my idea images. I like it so much. I would love to see this image winning one of photo salon. Good Luck Todd. |

Hi Pierre, this is some thing that I like from you. You like to experiment then share the results with us. You give me a lesson to learn. Which one that I like? I would blend the Original 2 as Layer 1 and the big version as Layer 2. Likely, I would do trial and and error adjustment. Adjust the opacity or experiment by using 'Blend If' in Photoshop. Keep us sharing new things with us Pierre. Thanks for the opportunity to learn from your images. |

To me, this is definitely a story telling image. I agree you included dry grass at the foreground. This give us more feeling of depth to the image. I suggest you crop the image and increase a little bit of shadow, texture and clarity to the vine house to give more emphasize of the harshness in its environment. I agree with everybody else this look more powerful in B&W. Nice Work Lamar |
