Judy, one thing that I learned from you is listening to some body's review to our images. We make pictures for our viewers to enjoy. It's too naïve for not considering their opinions. |

Hi Judi. I have been long following your photography style. I think I like the last one (Portarit format) best. Don't be surprise if you would have seen this kind of style from me later. I might be stealing your editing ideas shamelessly :). Thanks for your editing inspiration. |

Hi Stuart. I have seen twice of your post production practice. I think, it's not only your technical skills. To me, you have such remarkable vision on how and to which direction to enhance images and make it more stunning. I love post production editing but I am just up to copying some body else approach/ideas. Your edits are beyond my imagination. Thanks Stuart. |

Hi Kathryn. You simply have made me to learn the word 'Palouse'. I saw this kind of images in the internet but have not seen the real Palouse. I wish I would have the opportunity too see the real Palouse.
I think you have been so lucky, standing at the right position at the right time with the right angle of light ... with awesome cloud and its Ray of Light.
I think Stuart Caine has given you, IMHO, the best post production enhancement to make your image more stunning. |

Hi Wayne. You are like me, carrying heavy photography equipment is always an issue. It always my constraints especially when traveling. Although I have a DSLR, there are times when I just want to carry light. I have a compact camera Sony RX 100 M5. It has outstanding resolution, almost like DSLR. But the issue with this kind of compact camera is always 'lens distortion'. I think you have taken the right position for best shooting angle. You have tried to balance between foreground, background and leading lines. However, in many case lens distortion is not in our favor with this kind of Compact Camera especially in wide angle. Photoshop 2020 provides awesome Warp Tool (even) to improve our composition. However to my experience, it only works to certain extents. I would normally avoid shooting in wide angle with this kind of compact camera. Thanks for sharing this image with us. |

I like this edition more than the original image. To me, it looks more natural. I like the sun light through the trees. The bright parts on the right trees are just awesome and stunning. You have demonstrated to all of us the power of Post Processing. Nice work Todd. |

Hi Pierre. I wonder if you realized that your photography style has so much influenced on my photographic eyes. Like in this image. You divide the image composition into several layers and colors. Sometime two, sometimes three.
So, when I saw a this scenery in Honningsvag, Norway. Straight away, I imagined that I would compose and edited to follow your style. To me, it is an Inspiring work Pierre! |

Lamar, You know that English is my second language. My base English is naturally Technical English. And, you would see my comments are normally build from the Ten Elements of Image Analysis I learned from John Fishback (PSA Guru). He would normally ask me what's your rate to this image? My answer to this image is 5 stars. Maximum appreciation I could have given. My only suggestion is you go ahead submit this image to any Photo Salon. Likely, Open Monochrome. And ... see how good is your luck ... Awesome work Lamar! |

Hi Judy. I agree your edit is more appealing. You remind me of my editing 'trap'. I tend to make my editing a bit darker to make the scene more dramatic. But in this case it was a bit too much. I really appreciate your opinions. |

Hi Lamar. Thanks for your input. I agree with you the building is some what odd in the composition. However, I refrain from cropping it because I want to explore the light reflection on the water. I have also considered removing the building from the scene but it's not easy to make it look natural. Thanks for a good thought! |
