Hi Judy. I just do not want to repeat others comments here. One thing that I learned from you is your remarkable photographic eyes. You can spot a particular frame among busy scenes.
While as a Travel Photography lover, I still have to struggle to pick frame into my composition. I would normally refer to images from internet before visiting a place. As a result, my image would just be typical images by others as found from internet.
One article that I like is https://www.thewanderinglens.com/improve-your-photographic-eye-in-ten-steps/
I wonder if you have some experience to share with us. I would also appreciate sharing from other group members. Thanks Judy.

Kathryn. This is indeed awesome. To me, it's a five-star image. If you insist me room for improvement, it would only be darkening the sky ... just a bit ... not more than half stop. |

Hi Glen. What I like the most is how you positioned the horizon high enough to attract my eyes following colorful leading lines till the end. I like this effective and unique composition.
I agree with Judy suggestion to push the color more. Likely, those far we can go before we start to see 'Color Banding'. In my experience, this is a good example when we need to use CPF (Circular Polarizing Filter). CPF will help reduce water surface reflection so we can see through the bottom of this beautiful and vivid geothermal formation.
Awesome shot Glen. |

Hi Todd, one thing that I noticed here you effectively apply
Stephen Covey's teaching (in his book The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People) ie "Begin With the End in Mind." You have seen what you are going to do with your mage in post processing. I think this image will look more stunning by darkening the foreground and a bit of the background to explore more backlights and golden tree branches. Awesome creativity Todd.

I agree with Judy's suggestion to crop the image. It's far more elegant to me. My eyes then looked for some thing crisp around the center of the scene as a POI. Nice work Pierre. |

Lamar, I agree with all comments by our friends here. The impact of this image is the curvy leading lines towards colorful tress in the background. Like other opinions, my input is also to adjust straighten the walkway. Nice work Lamar. |

Judy, my aim for post editing is to make layers of the scene. I might have gone too far this time. Thanks for your feedback. |

Lamar. I was too busy looking for the best frame of the scene for good compositions. I should have tried several aperture settings to allow various DOF. Thanks for your feedback. |

Kathryne. I am not sure it's an active volcano. It's a tea plantation. I might have gone too far with my post processing. Thanks for your feedback. |

Pierre, you are right. Too much dehaze and contrast, obviously you noticed it. Thanks for your feedback. |
