Pierre: Might be a touch oversaturated from my taste.
FG: This what I like here, a Photography Dialogue. Your comments make me learn - Photography is, indeed, a matter of taste. From there we learned. Thanks Pierre! |

Glen: There has been some discussion about the space on the right but I think this adds to the story and gives the bridge a little room to breathe.
FG: That's exactly what I want. I purposely allow some space on the right to get the sense of moving boat. Thanks Glen. Posted: 08/19/2019 22:16:09 |

Hi Judy. What I like the most of your image is the composition. You have done fine work in cropping and positioning the horizon slightly above median. To me, it's awesome. Another point that I noticed here is your creativity to brightened part of the image to create a leading line to your interest area. Which in this case is the leaning chimney!
I learned from Unmesh Dinda. A commercial re-toucher and Photoshop educator based in India. He always suggest us to consider direction of the light when brightening or retouching our images. You might want to check out his video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z4OpNzDv9kE . I suggest you brightened up part of the beach and apply a bit of yellow sun color from right of the image. It looks more natural to me. Have fun playing with lights Judy.

Hi Katherine. To me, the impact of this image is a group of colorful umbrellas at the bright end of the alley. I love how you composed the leading lines towards this Interest Area. I like the HDR Color Harmony, your Technique and the Story telling set up. I think you achieved them all. My only input is the building perspective. I would finish it off with simple straightening of the buildings. Nice shot Katherine. |

Hi Glen, I don't mind another interesting aerial photography. I agree with Lamar, the flow river line brings particular impacts in this fine composition. My only suggestion is to increase vibrance and contrast of the global adjustment to make it more vivid. Then, reduce the overall brightness a bit, darken some part of the areas by brushing it to make the flow river line more outstanding. Nice work Glen. |

Todd, I think you make a right choice to make it Black and White. You smartly compose sharp rocks in front of soft misty background. I like your creativity to make outstanding foreground. My only suggestion is to remove a small protruding rocks in the middle of the image. I don't know why it always attracts my attention when enjoying the scene. Job well done Todd. |

Starburst of the sun rise definitely an eye catching impact of this image. I love how you compose the scene in panorama. My only suggestion is to bring down the shadow a bit and add vignette to make the scene looks more dramatic. |

I like how you set balance composition between left and right branches of the image. To me, the 'Y' shape at the center definitely brings strong impact of the overall image.
I agree with you maintaining the guy taking picture to show the scale oh the tree. I would rather remove other distracting objects like lady in blue shirt and all notice boards. This image reminds me of fine post processing technique by Ellen Borggreve. A Fine Art Photographer who is specializing in forest and landscape. https://www.ellenborggreve.com/about-me.
