Normally, I took 3 exposure brackets. I took more than three brackets for special conditions like nightscape. |

Judy,
To me, this is an excellent image. Unusual but convey a strong impact. My only suggestion is a soft vignette towards the center tree for a more misty mood. I strongly suggest you submit this image to any Photography Contest. Good luck Judy. |

Hi Kathryn,
This is one of the best shot I have seen from you. You cover most elements of excellent photography. Like Impact, Composition, Color Harmony, Light and Technique.
I agree with Todd's suggestion to remove the foreground bush. To me, Todd's editing has effectively enhanced the image Technical Excellence. It's Clean, Neat with Excellence Color Balance. I wish you luck to submit this image to any photo competition.

I have no doubt. This is a rare image that can only be obtained by using drone. I agree with Todd editing to make it more colorful and vivid. However, I prefer the original composition by Glen by showing the mountain and part of the sky. I love to here others' opinions here. Thank you. |

Hi Todd. The Impact that come to my first attention was the smoothness of the waterfall. It proves to me that nice waterfall should be a combination of several exposure time. The second element that you achieved well here is the Technical Excellence. Well done sharpness, exposure, DOF and its presentation. I like how you set the Composition by allowing foreground. I suggest you dim out the surrounding light a bit by a soft circle vignette surrounding to the waterfall for stronger Interest Areas. Good Job Todd. |

Hi Pierre,
I think you have successfully expand the scene dynamic range in HDR but maintain its natural look. Composition wise, I agree with Todd crop. It brings more impact to the overall scene by emphasizing more dimensional depth between Highlight and Shadow. Since I know you work in Light room, I suggest you experiment by using graduated filter to enhance the sky to make it more bluish purple.
Nice shot Glen. |

I like how you set the color harmony, by sandwiching combination of blue sky, gradation of dark and light blue with white sea waves, brown sand beach and dark green foreground. It brings a significant impact to me.
The foreground is a bit distracting to me. It almost like two separate pictures in one frame. I feel the composition would be more balance if you shot from a higher angle and allow more space for sand beach. Likely one third of the horizontal frame. You could then include the last one third of the frame with dark green foreground some white flowers to build interest more areas. |
