John, I like how you have brought out the red color of the telescope. Nicely done. My only pick is with the cloud. I personally prefer pronounced clouds with distinct and distinguishable lines. It seems to me the original image had a more pronounced clouds than the final result. It is a matter of personal preference, of course. Great job. |

welcome to the group Mark. It is amazing how much difference a good monitor makes. I had a 5 year old monitor that I was using for editing and never saw any issues with images. Now that I have moved to a low end 4k monitors, I have started to notice new color spectrums and undiscovered colors (and issues) with my images. ;-) |

nice framing Jim. I like how you have used all the real state available. The colors are vibrant and the background is fuzzy. I think Tamron is limited to f5.6 (?) so you probably wouldn't get much more bokeh than you already have.
Just a question on the lens. How do you like 150-600? I have heard both positive and negative comments on it. just curious to get your thought on it. |

thanks Guys. If interested, I built this time laps version of the images. I wish I could post it here but it would be too large.

Nicely done Laura, the details of the landscape stands out. HDR was a nice choice here. |
