this looks very nice Laura. I am staring to learn about dodging and burning myself and I can appreciate the work put into this. I specially like the contrast that you have created on the grass area. |

I like what you have done with the face. I think you brought out the texture in his face. I did not notice the reflection in his sunglasses until you and others mentioned it. It didn't stand out for me. I wonder if a bit of cropping would force it, but I hate to see you loose the hat. That brings character to the image. ;-) |

this is interesting picture. I almost assumed that the building's top is getting lost in the fog but then I realized it can see it. I wonder how it would look if you either cropped the top of the picture so that the top of the building would not show or if you used some PS magic. |

Nice crop Kim. this looks very nice and fill the image. I specially like how the branch at the back is out of focused. |

nice job with the orchid and cloning. I am wondering if there is a windows or glass behind the flower? there seems to be some dots on the background the are similar to water drops on a window. |

I was on the path of airplanes landing and was experiencing with placement of the plane. I did several shots, including placing the plane in the middle of the shot, and the opposite side, but none of them worked for me. I liked this one better because the image at first appears just a pattern of clouds and it takes the eye a few seconds of wondering around to find it.
I like to say that it was 100% planned, but it was more like 50%. I had a rough idea but not quite sure how it would turn out. Had to do a few trial and error. |
