No. It looks like scratches, but it might have been due to the fact that it had been raining outside before we entered the display. With rain and wind, the lens might have been affected, though I would think that debris on the lens would not show up so clearly on the image. |

This is a lovely composition. You did a great job in fixing the problems encountered with photographing a concert subject in very low light conditions.
I really appreciate the suggestions already given. I especially like the subtle color added in Denise's remake. One thing that bothered me was the sharpness of the photo. It seems to me that it is a tad overdone. The figure seems to be pasted due to the subtle lines around his head. Perhaps just a bit of softening in that area. Carol's suggestion to tone down the hair might also do the trick of softening the image and eliminating those barely perceptible lines around his head.
What a wonderful image and it well deserves being publicly hung on the wall! |

I love what one can do with phones these days! I too am attracted to spirals. Not only visual, but also abstract. I once wrote an article about human growth in awareness being like a spiral, transcended slowly but surely! Anyhow, your image is very appealing to me. I love the color of that flower, as well as how your processed the image.
I'm wondering what this would look like if you softened the topmost flowers on the spiral, to create a sense of motion and accentuate the center? |

In my opinion, your crop and focus is very well thought out. So is your conversion to black & white! I also appreciate that the bottom cover is blurred out. It does enhance the focus on the girls. The image is delightful and brings back a lot of memories of myself and my girl friend jumping on the mattress (a forbidden activity in my home!)
The only thing that bothered me was that your application to soften the edges seemed to soften the face of the girl a bit too much. I copied your image and used Topaz Sharpen AI, which sharpened the girl's face. |

To my eye, this is perfect, just as it is. I love its simplicity, and that simplicity is so well done that its impact is powerful. |

Yes, Denise and Jan, I had to study this a bit to get your point, but I do see it and prefer your suggestions over the original! Thank you! |
