Nice job Jan. It's just a personal preference, but I prefer oil painting with shorter strokes. Other than that, in my opinion, the colors, shades and overall composition are lovely. |

This is a fascinating image, in my opinion. I like Steve's suggestion for tying the birds closer to the god. Other than that, I really love the image just as it is. Your colors and textures and story are all very impactful for me, and I wouldn't change anything beyond Steve's suggestion. |

I agree with Steve about the advisability of removing the 'dribble'. The rain-like effect of the texture lends itself well to the addition of a few raindrops rolling down the horse's snout, in my opinion. I wasn't sure of how I felt about the color, but after looking repeatedly at the image, your color suits me fine! Lovely image. |

Candy and Steve, while I appreciate your comments, I can't see the difference between your interpretations nor between those interpretations and mine. Guess my eyesight must be going or I've lost my powers of observation! Thanks anyway. |

Good eye for catching those patterns. Personally, I find the black hole version to have a bit more interest, but Steve's application of the gradient adds interest to the rectangular version, in my opinion. |

This is a wonderful image, which I greatly love! Having lived in AZ, I have lots of old rodeo images, but the cluttered backgrounds are always distracting! You have handled that situation well. The texture, especially, is appealing to me. |

You did a good job, as usual. I really like the final effect, but also like the Original 2. I'm also intrigued by those smoke brushes. I'd imagine they would be relatively easy to duplicate, using a cloud image for detail/outline and NIK Color Efex Pro graduated fog. At least, you've inspired me to try that! |
