Thank you for your suggestions. No, you didn't go overboard for my taste. I especially like the brighter foreground. |

I agree with Sam. The bright streaks on the edges of the man's T shirt are pretty distracting as is the bright semi-circle. Reducing the brightness seems called for. I also notice a small bright spot to the lower right. You might want to clone that out. |

I turn a lot of my images to black and white when they were not taken during golden hour. In my opinion, this works as a monochrome image.I would just consider cropping a little bit out of the sky and a little bit out of the foreground. Play with it and see if you can improve the composition. |

I agree with Jim about cropping the image. What I would like to see is more light in the eye. The eye is the most important part of any portrait whether it be animal or human. You might want to explore playing around with lightening the eye. |

I think this image expresses your intent of deep depression. I don't know if it is just my eye, but this image looks very digitized to me. Do you have a version of this image with more pixels?

Okay, I guess I am the odd man out here. I really like the colors and detail of the original photo better than the processed photo.
I feel like it strayed way to far from the original capture. Just my opinion. |

Jim,
Unfortunately since I cannot compare images side to side, I really can't see any changes you made. Thank you so much for acting on my own suggestion for improvement. |
