This is far superior to the black and white images and the original. What did you do to improve it this much? |

I love the color contrast between the blue hour tones and the warm tones of the lights below. To my eye, the blue is a bit too strong, so I used the hue/saturation slider in PS to bring it down a bit. I also used the skew tool to straighten the verticals a little because it felt to me like it was leaning to the left. |

Good eye to see a photograph here. I agree that black and white is more effective than color for this image. To my eye, this picture really leans to the left. I did a rather crude straightening by using the skew tool it Photoshop. I also added a curves layer to make the blacks blacker and the whites whiter. |

I think black and white was a good choice since the image was almost monochrome in the original shot. You could increase the detail definition a bit more, if desired, by using the detail extractor in the NIK filter collection. |

I agree. This image is reminiscent of Normal Rockwell. You might want to consider adding a little color saturation especially to the interior area where the people are. |

I'm impressed how to stopped the action of these screaming fast jets. I have yet to take a decent picture of anything moving at all. It was definitely a good call to extend the canvas so it doesn't look like the jets are flying right out of the picture. |

You did manage to capture a nice image. I really like the silhouette effect that is created. You might consider lightening the shadows just a bit to bring a little more detail into the shadows without losing the desired effect. |
