24 Jan 19 Comment I forgot to mention that I do see a halo along some of the edges of the bird and branches. Jan 23rd
24 Jan 19 Comment Love the picture overall. You certainly captured the catch light in the birds eye. I would like to see a tad more room on the right so that it feels like the bird has somewhere to go. Jan 23rd
24 Jan 19 Comment I agree with Kayvon about the clouds. Using the dehaze filter in LR could bring some nice definition to the clouds. Cropping was definitely a good choice. Jan 23rd
24 Jan 19 Comment I love the subject and composition of this image. The background definitely needed to be toned down. However, you might try some soft dodging to create barely visible lines of light that lead the eye to the potter's face. Jan 23rd

24 Jan 19 Comment LOL, I'm not really a fan of this kind of photography, so I'm not sure I can say anything helpful. The only suggestion I could honestly make is to bring down the brightness of the highlights in the lower part of the image. Jan 23rd
24 Jan 19 Comment Changing the orientation was really a good idea. I agree that the bottom left is "weird." I would definitely darken that corner and the pathway so that it doesn't lead the eye out of the picture. Jan 23rd

24 Jan 19 Comment Ah, ballet dancers, I love the beautiful lines they create. I wish her upper hand was extended upward to carry out the line of her arm fully. Cropping was a good choice. However, I would like to see a bit more space in front of her so that it feels like she has somewhere to move into. Your original has room for that. I know you like the harsh lines of the background, but I would like to see the background softened somehow. Maybe a soft vignette or something to contain the focus on the dancer. Jan 23rd
24 Jan 19 Comment As you can tell from the original HDR, the quality of light was excellent. I can try toning down the brightness of the foreground. Thank you for the suggestion. Jan 23rd
24 Jan 19 Reply Who knows after the fact if I could have moved to make the sun rays better. I don't even remember if I actually saw the rays or just saw the opportunity to use a small aperture to create the rays. If I had better Photoshop skills, I might have been able to make it look that way. Something to think about in the future. Jan 23rd
