Sunrise and sunset is the best light for photography and the best time for possibly dramatic skies. Once you try it, you will be hooked! |

Now that you mention it, I do notice the halo. I always do halo removal after sharpening as the last step of processing any image. I wonder if I forgot or if the format for this board has something to do with it. |

You definitely captured the attitude and essence of the village children. This image works well in black and white. You caught some great expressions on their faces.
If possible, I would like to see a little more space on the right so that the girl isn't so close to the edge. To me, she feels crowded. |

You did a great job framing this image. The placement of major elements creates a very pleasing composition. |

Actually, there were no flares going up. I did not remove them. |

LOL, that is why we need others to critique our images. Other people see things that we don't. |

The tight crop was definitely a good idea. I love how you captured the light in the eye of the bird on the left.
You might want to consider boosting the red saturation. That would bring out the beautiful red beaks, and it would brighten the reddish brown of the ducks' heads and necks. |

I appreciate the fact that the horizon line is on a third rather than in the center. That makes the picture more dynamic.
The horizon appears to slant downward to the left. You might consider a slight clockwise straightening. |

Ha, ha, ha, they certainly posed for you, didn't they? I agree that monochrome focuses all the viewers attention on the donkeys without any other distractions.
You might try lightening the eyes a little to see if doing so brings your attention to the eyes. |
