Laura Lee, I can always to depend on you to give a great review! I've never tried focus stacking, but will check YouTube. You can find anything there! You caught me with that little spot on the right side. Before posting an image, I always to see it through a judge's eyes. Obviously, I missed that. Thanks! |

You did a great job with this bird. I photograph birds a lot and it's almost impossible to get a shot that you don't have to crop. I like the silver look of the grass. You did get his eye very sharp, which will make or break a nature photo. Very nice |

This is one of those million dollar images that I find to be just perfect. I am so glad you posted it. You couldn't ask for a better landscape image. |

You were really in the right place at the right time. In addition, you had the "eye" to know this would make a great image. I, too, love the sparks and I think they add to the impact a lot. I'm glad Jim mentioned the HDR. It's something I haven't tried and would like to learn how to do. If you decide to do that with this image, be sure to post it on this website so we can see the difference. |

The texture of the rock you captured is what, in my opinion, makes this image. I'm glad you replaced the sky. It adds to the impact. Beautiful image (even if you did put a watermark on it!) |

You are going to just go crazy over macro. I've had my 100mm macro for awhile now and I just love it. Your flower is sharp and looks like you could reach out and touch it. The more you practice with the macro, the better you'll be getting both sharp. I do love your image! Nice color and the bee isn't far off. (I actually set up my tripod and aimed my camera at a wasp nest to get a macro shot -- got it too!) |

This is definitely an awesome PJ image. The engineer really puts the size of the dam into perspective, so I'm glad he was there when you took the photo. Good job! |

Thank you for the comments. I will try a higher aperture to see if I can get more in focus. Thanks! |

Stephen, Yes the "chucking" is basically the same as "smooching", I guess they call it "smooching" because the lips look the same as when we're trying to get a smooch from out honey! I love shooting rodeo, something my fellow photographers get a kick out of. |

Both are pretty darn good, but I can see why you wanted to make it black & White. I was lucky enough to photo eagles last year and all my skies looked just like yours! |

You're welcome, Gunter. One of the members of our photography club took an image of a steer dogger and said it was calf roping -- two completely different events. Kinda funny when no one even knows the difference! |

Well, when you get an image this good, there's not a lot of post processing that needs to be done. Some of our other members might come up with something, but, for me, its cool like it is. Love the reflection and the sharp eye. |

In answer to your question, yes this image arouses all kinds of questions, which makes it a very interesting image. I love the man in the red jacket. He looks like he's walking into infinity. The movement of the woman is also pretty cool. Overall, it's a very good image. |

Your image is sharp and has a lot of detail. Lucky you to get to visit the Masal Mara my dream. Don't know how the before image looked but the B&W is pretty cool too. |

I love the interpretations of a barrel race! I barrel raced for many years. It's a three barrel set up in a clover leaf pattern. The size of the pattern depends on the size of the arena. It's definitely a timed event, with a five second penalty for each barrel that's knocked over. I don't think the winning time in a rodeo would be as high as 24 seconds, probably closer to a 16/17 second pattern. The difference in time by one-one thousandth of a second can often separate first place from second. Now that I've cleared that up, the image of the rider and horse are pretty awesome. I agree that the background is always a problem in rodeo. The way the dirt is flying adds to the image as does the shape of the girls mouth. She's obviously "smooching" her horse for more speed as he's headed to the third barrel. |

The image of the temple earns its name. I looks like it's made out of gold. You caught it at the best time of the day. The dark blues, against the gold and the reflection is just beautiful. Oh, I wondered where I'd seen the image before. |
