at first, I thought this was just a photo of some clouds and I thought "ho hum", but then I saw the airplane and went "wow". I do like Laura Lee's crop because I think it makes the airplane stand out. I actually have to admire you because I did stop on the side of the road under the flight path of planes landing at Houston Intercontinental Airport, hoping to catch an image similar to this one. I never did get the shot, but you did. Congratulations!! |

I agree with Jim and Laura Lee about balancing out the left horizon by lightening it similar to the right side. Other than that, I love the image and the editing to make it warm and not just gray. Nice image! |

Kim, I, too, struggle with birds. So many photographers in our club are adept at it, getting those eyes tack sharp. Raise that shutter speed and I think that will help you a lot. Beautiful crop and color. |

I love the image in its simplicity. The lighting is good and I really like how you used the background to your advantage. I'm kinda in agreement with Laura Lee. -- maybe some additional saturation in the colors of the flower. |

Thank you for all the comments. I didn't want to crop the picture as I really like the hat. I did darken the background and increased exposure on his face. Let me know if you like the black background or if you prefer the original. |
