I like the photo, I like the mood.
Both colour and B&W photos are attractive, but they are not the same picture when I compare the left hand side. Anyway, this photo is good. |

The photo is beautiful.
I think if you can move a step forward, the stone in foregound will be changed to 1/3 and the sun to be 2/3 of the photo. I like the sun more than the rock.

Your setting 1/500 F1.8 ISO 3200 showed the moment was dark, I do not know the princess and brave were moving very fast or not, I would try 1/125 to absorb more light to reduce noise.For hand held shooting, you can try 1/125 without shake, just practice and you can do it.

I love the colour and pattern, if the small area is not over shone by sunlight, it would be perfert. The contrast of this picture is very large that even raw file cannot be adjusted to normal. For me, I will try to shoot the brightest area not to over bright first, and other will be done by PS. This may cause the colour of dark area cannot be seen clearly. The other way,
try the blanket way, take 3 photos, over, under and normal, and use PS to do. |
