Group Round C/R Comment Date Image
24 Nov 18 Comment Thanks for your comments everyone. Jim, I like your edits and suggestions. Your version seems almost like a painting. Sweet. I was torn about the cropping out of the yellow, because I like it too (although I am a bit biased - as it's my favorite color). I see the merits either way. Nov 26th
24 Nov 18 Comment Kayvon, this image reminds gives me the feel of looking out a frosted glass window. What a nice capture - I never would have seen the crop from the original, but what a neat catch. The only thing I might do is edit out the "line" above the tall tree in the middle and perhaps the dark "shadow" above the two smaller trees on the left. Nov 26th
24 Nov 18 Comment Boy do those colors pop! And it is so sharp that it is easy to read the letters on the first boat. What I really love, is the clouds, how dark and formed they are to make a contrast with the bright colors. Nov 26th
24 Nov 18 Comment I just think these little guys are so fun. And super fast. Hard to catch a shot. I guy in our club has a whole system set up in his house to attract them, with a feeder in front of a removable window and other stuff. It's quite elaborate and he gets some great shots of them actually feeding (he don't provide a post for them to rest while eating). But they keep coming back. I really like your softer green background for the bird. Nov 26th
24 Nov 18 Comment Fish eye lenses are so fun. I haven't really mastered them yet - and mine don't ever look good, but can't say that I have practiced with them much. This image gives me some motivation. I love the long shadows and agree with the other suggested edits. Nov 26th
24 Nov 18 Comment Donna - I agree this is quite creative. Not an image I would have ever come up with. Clever. I agree with the suggestions, and really don't have anything to add, except maybe a request to see the original, it might be nice to see without the background or what you were working with. Nov 26th
24 Nov 18 Comment Jim, What a lovely photo, I particularly like the "cloud shelf" where it appears the clouds are sliding across a clear floor. One of my favorite cloud formations. Also, the tip about the corner I had never heard either, thanks. I would never have noticed the points Laura Lee made, but I learn much from her. Thanks to all.
