I just love that little guy. I think you captured the shot well with the "natural" background and the focus of the eyes. He is certainly aware of you. I have been following one of these guys at a camp we go to some weekends, and he just won't let me get close enough (thinks I am going to steal his food). Thanks for leaving the rawness of the shot, it's fitting. That being said, I may play with it a bit to see what "unraw-ing" it will do. |

What I particularly like is the bright glowing embers of the soldering (or whatever dangerous looking task he seems to be doing) in contrast to the blander rest of the scene (gray sky, drab clothes). It really shows the "worker" with the glowing embers and the yellow work hat. Neat opportunity for a shoot. |

The scene is certainly breath taking. I love the simplicity of the scene and colors. The rock striations are dramatic and distinct. |

Water water everywhere.... The person certainly helped bring this scene to scale. The edits were improvements for sure in bringing clarity to the story. |

What great colors overall, such detail of those yellow flakes of pollen and so close. I'd love to see the original to see the difference. I just got a macro myself and plan to play with bugs. |
