Kayvon, what a playful shot. When I glanced at the pic as a thumbnail with all the other group photos, I didn't catch the plane, but when I opened it up, it jumped out. Great color and pattern. How long did it take for you to compose the shot, did you set out to do it and have to wait for it, or did you just happen come upon it? Kinda like a "where's waldo" game, but with more class. |

Laura Lee, while your original is nice, the edits make the shot dramatic. Love it. I love the cloud color and detail of the grass. I don't even know what much of your editing means, but it sure gives me a lot to look up, so thanks for being so specific.

Lynette, What a face. I can only guess he is a character. Love the lines and texture. And it is the reflection that makes this picture. Nice catch. |

Philip, ah the dreaminess of fog. Great softness. I like the original too, but your edits really make the shot. I live in the "city of bridges" - probably self proclaimed. And just a few weeks ago I took a series of similar shots. Here is my favorite. In fact, I am pretty sure the "Pittsburgh Photo fair" got their shot on about the same day I was shooting. https://www.pghphotofair.com. I do just love foggy scenes. Nice! |

Jim, you always have such interesting lighting strategies - and I learn alot - although haven't tried any yet. I love the shiny/waxy eggplant shades. The "hairs" are so sharp. Thanks for the original. Would you typically take the original picture with cropping needed, or was that to show how you did it? |
