David, you have done the best work on my photo. I truly appreciate your efforts and imagination. I'm learning so much from DD#5. I decided to attempt a redo using all suggestions. I have the background darkened and not artificially blurred.
Let me know if you think this is better. Jim |

Pete, I just picked up a Sony A7R3MA on sale as a backup to my Sony A7RM4 because I am headed to the Swiss Alps and River Cruise down the Rhine next Saturday. Jim |

Sophia, thank you for your thoughts. Once I decided that I couldn't crop out the shiny chrome rim of the maroon car and had to be removed, I needed to find something to replace it. One thing led to another. Then the trash can had to go, and then the wheel of the car on the left. You get the idea. |

Richard, Your capture of the bee and this blossom is fantastic. I don't think you need as much blossom to fill the space, so I cropped it to bring more of the bee into this impressive image. What do you think? Jim |

Sophia, I think you have gotten some very good ideas in post-processing and have seen what the group has done. My suggestion to improve this greatly is to bring a tripod for long ND low ISO exposures. Even a monopod would have helped steady this one. Jim |

Mark, again you prove New Zealand is in another world. I think that the left edge and bottom are negative spaces. They take away from the interest in the volcanic intrusion. I'd rather have space for it to "intrude" down the right slope.

Pete, so sad to fall and break a camera on the day before this one. What you did to brighten up on this new day is very good. I like how you drew out the purples in the field and the colors in leaves about to turn in West Virginia. It's good that you could find a level field like this one in WV to photograph. Jim |

Richard, I am impressed with how your Mask AI helps the background. I like this. Thank you. Jim |

Sophia, I saw the one blue chair as needing a companion. Oxford is my hometown and I like the people here. Jim |

David, you have initiated the best of the group to respond to your amazing photo. I like what Mark did with AI in Photoshop to get shocked wide-open eyes that give a great stare. Your covering of the right side of the background with the blue sphere and removing the band eliminates the distractions. Jim |

Barbara, I think you have some good suggestions from our group. I think that the over-sharpening created noise. I used Topaz DeNoise AI and I think it helped. Jim |

Sarita, this is a great stop-action shot. I see many similarities in shaking off water with other animals, including closing their eyes, twisting their necks and releasing sprays of water drops. Your attention to detail is keen and you cropped it to capture only what's needed for stop action. Jim |

Kathy, I appreciate how you use the motion, stop action, near and far to bring depth to this photo. I was curious what Topaz Sharpen AI on a "out of focus - very blurry" setting would do. Jim |

Mike, this would make a wonderful video. The silence before sunset becomes squawking, honking, as wings of every bird turn together into the wind for flight. I remember it well with snow geese and Canada geese. Having cranes is majestic.
I like the rich saturation, the stop action and how you wait until the sky is filled. Great photo. Jim |

Isaac, fantastic action moments. Thank you for the sequence. Your prime image captures the moment of struggle and resistance to lift the fish out of water. The photo quality is great, even the backlit flight feathers helps define the effort. Jim |
