The saturation and darkening happened when I adjusted the dehaze. I used the dodge tool and came up with this |

Mark and Pete, thank you for your suggestions. I went even further by darkening the background, highlighting the leading edge of the horse to get separation. Let me know if I went too far with your suggestions. Jim |

I like the color. I'm not sure what you did with the lighting modifications, but I see details in the clouds above the horizon. That's OK, but it takes away from the minimalist goal because you've introduced more things to look at. Jim |

Richard, your Easy Landscape preset works very well. I like the way this gives a balanced reflection, detailed focus, and appreciation of the temple in a contemplative setting. Well done. Jim |

Mark, the textures and colors are very rich for such a cloudy day. Well done. Is this with your Sony A7Riv? Do you have the new FE 2.8 24-70 GM II ? I just got it. Wow - very fast focus. Jim |

Sophia, you have a great quality capture here. Your post-processing is great. I never thought of using "cloudy" for WB. It works well for you. Thanks for the suggestion. You must have waited long into the night to get the Milky Way vertical for this one. Are you sure about the date? November 19th 2022 is 18 days from now. Thanks for sharing this. Well done. Jim |

Pete, you accomplished your goals, very smooth and definitely a minimalist image. I like the branch - but I am distracted by the very short second stick that cuts across the long branch. I tried to clone it out and clone out that little bit of shadow that crosses it. Let me know what you think. Jim |

David, I like what you did to make her face brighter. Removing the light bulbs was a very good improvement. I think you darkened the buildings behind her, and darkened the black skulls on her spider castle headdress. I suggest that you lighten the two black skulls to get separation from the dark blurred out alley - or just lighten the edges of the skulls to get that separation that is in the original. Jim |

Barbara, I like how your darkened edges seems to add an antiquing texture. Your image is nostalgic, bringing memories of many decades gone by. These must be antiques by now. Thank you. |
