The model pose is a redundancy of clear umbrellas, with the model looking up to see if rain is coming. It's stage props interacting with the selfie station painted on the wall. That's all. Jim |

Laura, I like your crop on 10/7. It brings out the best colors in teh sky and in those sections in the mountains. If you have noise, get the new Topaz DeNoise AI.Its does amazing things. Topaz Sharpener AI brings out amazing details. Jim |

Gaetan, if you look very carefully, the shaft of the umbrella in the background and the shaft of the model's umbrella are parallel. The model's head is in the center of the black space. I like that positioning for these reasons. Jim |

Sam, thank you for your thoughts. I used f/22 fro it s large depth of field to be certain that everything/everyone was in focus. Jim |

Albert, I do not label the original, that's the way the website labels additional images. Jim |

Tam, these slot canyons are amazing and I am so glad that you captured this image. It is not easy to handle the extremes of lighting. You did this well. Did you use HDR or image stacking to get this?
The colors do seem to be saturated, more vivid than what I photographed in the Upper Antelope Slot Canyon. Maybe the time of day was different than when I was there at 11AM. Jim |

Sam, your final photo is awesome. Is this a panorama?
Seeing how much negative space there is on the lower left corner, I used Photoshop edit>distort to stretch that lower corner as far as I could without distorting the waterfall. Then I did another distort to stretch the left upper corner to remove the rock face and leave sky. Let me know if this looks natural to you. Jim |

Albert, it is so unfortunate to have comments that are not correct or helpful. Comparing the original with the final version, I am not sure where the dark areas in the lower left and right corners came from. They are not there in the original. I like the brighter sunset in the original because the eye is attracted to it. I understand that you want attention on the gnus.
The final version cropped off the legs of the gnus.
I took your original and used the dodge tool to highlight the gnus.
Because you have so many gnus grazing, I would categorize this is as a landscape sunset in South Africa.
Let me know your thoughts on this edit. Jim |

Gaetan, I'm glad you saw this and wanted to make this photo. I like how the table came out, however I'm not so excited about the green tint this gave to the glass and wall background. The sparkle is a great shade of blue, but not natural. You might want to reduce the blues and greens in this. Jim |

Laura, it's so rare to get a rainbow in a sunset. The rainbow is in the opposite direction from the sun shining on falling rain. I like the finished image, however I would like to see more of the ridge on the right - crop 20% from the right side of the original so that the ridge line on right and left are equal (one third down from the top instead of midpoint right edge) Jim |
